Eric is a second year graduate student in the doctoral program in social and personality psychology at the University of California, Riverside. He is interested in the role of moral and normative beliefs in youth violence. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvard University. His primary advisor, in the developmental psychology area, is Nancy Guerra, and his secondary advisor, in the social/personality area, is Howard Friedman. After a stint as a software engineer at a Silicon Valley start-up company, Eric returned to academia to pursue his research interests in morality and violence.
